The Crow And The Pitcher.

In a spell of dry weather, when the Birds could find very little to drink, a thirsty Crow found a pitcher with a little water in it. But the pitcher was high and had a narrow neck, and no matter how he tried, the Crow could not reach the water. The poor thing felt as if he must die of thirst.
Then an idea came to him. Picking up some small pebbles, he dropped them into the pitcher one by one. With each pebble the water rose a little higher until at last it was near enough so he could drink.

Lesson : “In a pinch a good use of our wits may help us out.”

Reflection: When things get tough, don't give up! We were not born quitters. Trials in life are just stuffs we need to undergo to be a better person. Just like the crow, it's short beaks was not a hindrance unto him. Instead, he made way for him to be able to drink water and live n the middle of that dry weather. We just need to think of solutions to our problems before we think of giving up. Let us all be like the crow.

Two Travelers And A Bear.

Two Men were traveling in company through a forest, when, all at once, a huge Bear crashed out of the bush near them.
One of the Men, thinking of his own safety, climbed a tree. The other, unable to fight the savage beast alone, threw himself on the ground and lay still, as if he were dead. He had heard that a Bear will not touch a dead body.
It must have been true, for the Bear snuffed at the Man’s head awhile, and then, seeming to be satisfied that he was dead, walked away. The Man in the tree climbed down. “It looked just as if that Bear whispered in your ear,” he said. “What did he tell you?” He said, answered the other, “that it was not at all wise to keep company with a fellow who would desert his friend in a moment of danger.”

Moral Lesson : “Misfortune is the test of true friendship.”

Reflection: It's not good to think of ones safety only. You need to think of other people too. And also, If you're a true friend you'll never hesitate to save you're friend and bravely fight for anyone. It doesn't mean that when both of you are in the middle of danger you will forget the fact that you both are good friends. Real friendship takes every happy moments and sad moments TOGETHER.

The Dog And His Reflection.

A Dog, to whom the butcher had thrown a bone, was hurrying home with his prize as fast as he could go. As he crossed a narrow footbridge, he happened to look down and saw himself reflected in the quiet water as if in a mirror. But the greedy Dog thought he saw a real Dog carrying a bone much bigger than his own.
If he had stopped to think he would have known better. But instead of thinking, he dropped his bone and sprang at the Dog in the river, only to find himself swimming for dear life to reach the shore. At last he managed to scramble out, and as he stood sadly thinking about the good bone he had lost, he realized what a stupid Dog he had been.

Lesson: “It is very foolish to be greedy.”

Reflection: Sometimes all we need in life is to love all that we have not all the things that we don’t have. Because as we all know, God only give those things which could make us a better being. We need to be satisfied with what we have.
